This place makes being a vegetarian awesome. The shroom burger is amazing. So very good. Fries are tasty, sauces are good. Would def go here again. Wish we had one by us!
I have not been to this location physically but we did order via uber eats while working in DC. Had this late last year while working in Philly. Had the miso noodle salad at this location. Loved it! My husband had a spicy sandwich of sorts and onion rings. We also had every breakfast option. Recommend if you are vegan for sure!
One of my favorite places to go for vegan food in DC! The food (fast-food style but not low-quality) is amazing, and this location is always so clean. Of course I wish they had a few more seating options, so I could bring more people here! The staff is also super nice and helpful, always ready to answer my questions. I recently had an issue with my rewards app and Wayni, the cashier, was super attentive and did everything she could to help me figure out the issue. I feel like most people would not have done that. Just another reason to love HipCityVeg and the staff at the Chinatown location!
Food was 100% delicious, best vegan burger I’ve had (smokehouse). The sriracha aioli was amazing too. Seating was very limited though. I wish they served beer too but there’s a bar next door anyway
Had a quick bite before a Washington Capitals game. Location was great and right across the street from the arena. Grabbed a burger and fries. Food was delicious but the burger was on the smaller side. That necessitated a secondary order of the cauliflower bites, which were deliciously crispy. The fries had the right flavor, crispiness on the outside while soft on the inside. Overall a really solid vegan/vegetarian option in a good and convenient location.
The food here is amazing! The ambiance is a little less than ideal but it’s a small and busy space, so it works! Maybe some ambiance music would elevate the experience? Other than that, this place is the absolute best spot for gluten free and vegan items! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, especially the seasonal shakes are a must!
OH MY!!! Best sweet potato fries ever. I had PLNT burger earlier that day and they don’t have anything on Hip City Veg. I truly believe this was the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. The burger was very flavorful. However, the nuggets are my only complaint. They were too tiny to not come with more. It felt like I ordered them off of the kids menu. Please make your nuggets bigger or include more! Otherwise, I’m a very happy camper. Side note: Come to Boston… pretty please with a cherry on top?
Came here after realizing the other store was permanently closed. I bought the chicken nuggets, sweet potato fries, regular fries, and fruit punch. Everything I bought was delicious! Sauces are very good too. Small place, I would recommend taking it to go.
